About Me
My name is Juliana Pavlova.
I was born on 1 July 1968 in
My love for art was inspired by my parents.
My paintings are a reflection of everything new and different that has happened in our way of life in recent years, namely my mental perceptions, thoughts, emotions, feelings, struggles. Each of us has experienced and is experiencing this new different way of life in our own way. This is how I expressed myself in my works, my colors, feelings, emotions, emotions, which hit me like a stormy hurricane with high, strong, sparkling waves, which gradually subsided and calmed down or remained dynamic depending on what was happening around!

Education
Institute of Applied Arts, Greece
Graphic designer, Bachelor’s Degree
1993 – 1996
National Academy of Arts, Bulgaria
Graphic designer, Master’s Degree
1996 – 2001
Juliana Pavlova has a master’s degree from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, majoring in Poster. Prior to that, she attended the Athens Institute of Technology for four years, where she studied graphic design. After graduating with honors, she lived and worked for many years abroad, where she has numerous solo and joint exhibitions with the Phantasm Gallery. She is also proud of the recognition of His Royal Highness Prince Consort of Denmark Henrik, who owns her work.
After returning to Bulgaria, she continues her work with the Phantasm Gallery in Denmark. In her homeland she makes solo and joint exhibitions, works with galleries throughout the country. The works of Juliana Pavlova are a new mixed technique of painting on metal. It combines the coldness of metal with the warmth of light, which is polychrome refracted in its cold surface. With this technique, the works seem to come to life, become one and embark on a whirlwind dance.
“The most influential figure to me, however, was my grandmother, Liuba Pavlova. She was a lawyer and her art was the art of words. She had the talent of painting words with such expressive imagery and color, which turned every conversation we had into a work of art. So, it was only natural for me to study art.
Art keeps running in my family through my daughter Dea Desislava, who is now designing her own clothing line.
I am deeply grateful to my parents and family for their support and influence on my artistic mind. I dedicate my creations to them, to all my friends, who were always by my side, and to all art lovers. Above all, I dedicate them to my dear Granny.”
